What are the steps included of a spa disposal?

When disposing of a hot tub, our team follows a clear and professional process to ensure the job is done safely, cleanly, and with full legal compliance. 1. Initial Assessment We review the spa's current setup, access routes, and condition to determine whether it can be removed in one piece or requires on-site demolition. 2. Draining & Disconnection (if needed) If the spa hasn’t already been prepared, we ensure it is fully drained and safely disconnected from any electrical supply before starting the removal. 3. Preparation for Removal For standard disposals: We prep the unit for safe handling and extraction using spa dollies or sledges. For demolitions: We section off the area, protect surroundings, and begin cutting down the spa into manageable pieces. 4. Safe Removal or On-Site Demolition If the spa is coming out whole, we maneuver it onto our specialist trailer using our equipment. If demolition is required, we dismantle or cut up the spa with appropriate tools, minimizing mess and damage to the area. 5. Loading & Clean-Up All spa components and debris are carefully loaded onto our trailer. We sweep and clear the area afterward unless agreed otherwise. 6. Transport & Legal Disposal We transport the spa (or its parts) to a licensed waste facility for environmentally responsible disposal, ensuring compliance with all regulations. This process ensures your spa is removed cleanly and efficiently - whether it rolls out in one piece or leaves in sections.

Deposit Requirement and Important Considerations.

A £200 deposit is required to secure your hot tub disposal appointment. This allows us to allocate the necessary time, equipment, and personnel for your service. We rely on you to provide accurate information about access, spa condition, and surrounding obstacles, as we do not carry out site visits prior to disposal bookings. If the spa cannot be removed or demolished due to incorrect or incomplete information (e.g., limited access, undeclared decking, live electrics, or structural barriers), the deposit is non-refundable, and full payment may still be required. This reflects the labour, transport, and scheduling committed to your job. To avoid issues, we strongly recommend you measure all access points, confirm disconnection, and upload photos with your enquiry. Let us know if you're unsure — we’ll happily advise before booking.
